TORONTO — Monday, October 15, 2018 — An international property investment opportunity is coming to Toronto Botanical Gardens this month. The Gates of Edgehill International Tour will make its Toronto stop Tuesday, October 30th, and offer local buyers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to own a slice of Jamaica’s North Coast.

Featuring the music of Fred Crossley and hosted by Oliver Samuels — aka the Caribbean King of Comedy and a child of the Parish of St. Mary — this evening event will also include dinner from The Art Of Catering and a detailed presentation to showcase this exclusive gated community in St. Mary, Jamaica.

Karl Subban — famed hockey dad to NHL players PK, Malcolm and Jordan — will speak to his thoughts on education, parenting and building the community. Guests will receive a copy of Subban’s book, How We Did It.

Jamaica’s Consul General to Toronto Lloyd Wilks will be present, bringing greetings on behalf of Jamaica’s government and citizens, as well as Jamaica Consul General to New York Trudy Deans at the New York City event, and Jamaican High Commissioner to The United Kingdom George Ramocan at the London event. Event partners include Jamaica Tourist Board, Jamaica Promotions Corporation JAMPRO, Grace Kennedy, Jamaica National Bank, Victoria Mutual Building Society, and National Commercial Bank.

Attendees will receive a virtual tour of two model homes, The Diana (1,658 sq.ft) and the Elizabeth (1,904 sq.ft), both offering beautiful 3 bedroom, two bath homes with tall cathedral ceilings. Attendees will also get access to mortgage opportunities from partner banks and exclusive tour incentives.

With over 58 acres of scenic vistas situated atop the rolling hills in the Parish of St. Mary, the Gates of Edgehill offers brand-new and tropical-inspired homes surrounded by lush forests and peeking ocean views.

For anyone who has “considered owning a piece — or another piece — of “The Rock” for retirement, as an investment, or for your ‘cottage’ in Jamaica, (The Gates of Edgehill) will be ideal,” says Toronto-based developer David Morrison of Morrison Financial. The community will feature a unique two-story clubhouse with state-of-the-art gym, cabana bar, infinity pool, multi-purpose court, outdoor grill, yoga sundeck, reading deck, library, conference room, arts and crafts area, jogging track, and more. “Gates of Edgehill is resort-style living, on the hill and above the rest.”

Steps from Ocho Rios and Dunn’s River Falls, the Gates of Edgehill community built the Boscobel Infant School in 2016, which is credited for laying the educational foundation for more than 100 children. The school build was coordinated through Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation and constructed by Food For The Poor Canada. “This contribution to community development will help shape young minds,” says Samuels.

The Toronto leg is one of three stops for the presentation; produced by Jones & Jones Productions Ltd., the Gates of Edgehill International Tour will also be in:

Queens Village, NY @ Antun’s — Wednesday, November 7th

Pimlico, London UK @ Venues Victoria — Sunday, November 11th

Attendees must register to attend.
